With so many conflicting “diagnosis” floating around in alternative medicine whether it is leaky gut, SIBO, Candida (yeast) overgrowth, I began researching for alternative ways to assess / examine the body that conventional medicine didn’t cover. I wanted to embark upon traditional remedies that have become a forgotten and intentionally buried in the name of science-based medicine.
Last year in October, when I was slowly beginning to feel better, I wanted to get Hijama done because I knew of the enumerable health benefits it offered.
I saw Hijama as a cleanse
But I wanted a way to measure how this cleanse affected my body and health. I discovered a blood test called Live Blood Analysis, where a drop of fresh blood is taken and examined by a specialist under a Dark Field Microscope.
Below are two images. My first Live Blood Analysis (LBA) was completed 4 days after I had Hijama done. After Hijama, I was feeling very refreshed and energetic.
The LBA actually showed my blood looking very healthy with very little concerns that needed to be addressed. My LBA did identify excessive yeast overgrowth (which meant I needed to do a candida cleanse and take probiotics). It also showed that I was anemic (which I was).
Fast forward to February 2019,
When I was feeling very ill again. I had brain fogs, sluggishness, mild headaches and just an overall feeling of un-wellness. I couldn’t quite pinpoint why I was feeling ill, but I was.
I decided to get another LBA that day, and to my surprise, my blood gave a completely different story. This time, you could see that my blood cells where not separate (which means it’s hard to feel energized), you could see protein/fat indigestion. My yeast overgrowth had significantly diminished, but my white blood cells weren’t as strong and vibrant as they were post Hijama.
Although Live Blood Analysis is not recognized by “modern” medicine, it is widely used and accepted by Naturopathic Medicine as well as other alternative medical practices.
